Interested in learning or improving your watercolor skills? All materials and techniques will be discussed, including the selection of papers, brushes, and pigments, as well as transparent and opaque painting methods. This new exhibition at The Fabric Workshop and Museum features selections from Jesse Krimes’s “Elegy Quilt” series (2020–present), a body of work that renders the personal effects of the U.S. carceral system through portraits of domestic spaces. Using donated textiles and American quilting traditions, Krimes creates intricately patterned quilts that meditate on memory, loss, alienation, comfort, and resilience.

Join us for the Exhibition Reception of The Birth by Low-Residency MFA alum, SEIVIN. Shortly after graduating from the MFA program in the summer of 2025, SEIVIN was invited to create an installation in the Broad Street Studio at the front of the Hamilton Building. Known for elaborate and colorful site-specific tape installations, he transformed the glass gallery into a dynamic, entangled experience solely using tape. Pauline Oliveros’ (1932-2016) life as a composer, performer and humanitarian was about opening her own and others’ sensibilities to the universe and facets of sounds. Her career spanned fifty years of boundary dissolving music making. In the ’50s, she was part of a circle of iconoclastic composers, artists, and poets gathered in San Francisco. In the ’60s, she influenced American music profoundly through her work with improvisation, meditation, electronic music, myth, and ritual.
