Join Trail Ambassadors Pat Jacona and Margaret Kinnevy on a silent hike along the Lavender Trail. Focus your mind and body as we as silently walk some of the most beautiful trails in the park. This peaceful experience, while the sun is low on the horizon, will culminate in a view of the sun setting over the creek (weather permitting, of course). There will also be time to connect with your fellow hikers. This will be a moderately paced fitness hike of 4 miles with a good stretch of rocky terrain.
Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions. Service animals are always welcome. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org.
