    Pollinator-palooza! Join PHS Design and Procurement Manager, Sam Keitch, on a tour of Logan Square as he highlights the extensive varieties of species planted throughout that promote food and living environments for all things pollinator. The garden design is meant to withstand an urban atmosphere while promoting pollinators.     In Puerto Rico, you will find a traditional hot sauce, called pique, used on rice, beans, and meat dishes. While most Puerto Ricans use their own recipes for making pique, creating a variation of taste, it is typically made with vinegar, a variety of chili peppers, garlic, and spices, followed by a fermentation period to allow for a more complex flavor to develop.     Learn about gardening, greening, and the environment and how to incorporate them into the classroom or after-school activities. Green City Teachers is a five-session virtual course that uses experiential learning to give teachers, educators, parents, and mentors the background knowledge to pass gardening along to the next generation. Topics include basic horticulture, growing outdoors in winter, food gardening, light gardening, plant propagation, finding resources, and green career exploration for youth.
