Cliveden’s next Second Saturday event on July 8th, from 9am to 4pm, and the theme is Citizenship! Local organization Victoria Urban Outreach Tutoring Service (VUOTS) will host a civic engagement and legislative conversation with Every Voice, Every Vote, a collaborative project managed by The Lenfest Institute for Journalism.
From 9am to 12pm, community members are welcome to volunteer in the gardens and assist the Preservation Director in maintaining the greenspace. Tools and directions will be provided, no experience is necessary. Volunteers should come to the Carriage House and Barn, located at 98 E. Cliveden Street, 19119, to meet with Libbie. For any questions about volunteering on Second Saturday mornings, please email us at [email protected].
From 12pm to 4pm, engage with vendors and organizations on the grounds and inside the Carriage House and Barn. At 2:30pm, join in an open conversation about civic engagement in the Carriage House. The conversation will last until 4pm. All are invited to be a part of the conversation; registration through Eventbrite is suggested.
