After-School Enrichment: Intro to Archery & Wilderness Survival and Intermediate Wilderness Survival

This fall, Awbury’s AdventureWoods is the place to be for hands-on outdoor fun! Children ages 8–11 can join Intro to Archery & Wilderness Survival on Thursdays, Sept 25–Oct 30, 2025, from 4–6 PM, where they’ll learn the basics of archery, try their hand at carving, cook over a campfire, and practice core survival skills like foraging, knot-tying, shelter-building, and first aid. For older adventurers ages 11–15, the Intermediate Wilderness Survival program runs Tuesdays, Sept 23–Oct 28, 2025, from 4–6 PM, taking things to the next level with advanced archery drills, tool carving, matchless fire-starting, cooking, and more complex survival challenges. Both 6-week sessions meet at AdventureWoods, 6060 Ardleigh St., and cost $150 ($140 for Member Families), with space limited to 16 participants per group.
