JOIN US FOR OUR OPEN HOUSE! The Brass & Wind Project at Temple University (BWP) serves students interested in learning the musical skills essential to playing a band instrument. In weekly large and small group classes, fundamental skills will be taught, allowing the student to thrive in a low-pressure and supportive environment. Grades: 2nd - 6th Instruments: A variety of simple, beginner friendly plastic instruments designed with the young musician in mind will be provided while the student is registered in the program. Children ages 8–11 can join Intro to Archery & Wilderness Survival on Thursdays, Sept 25–Oct 30, 2025, from 4–6 PM, where they’ll learn the basics of archery, try their hand at carving, cook over a campfire, and practice core survival skills like foraging, knot-tying, shelter-building, and first aid.
