Networking brunch for women of color in tech

Start

Philly Tech Sistas will be hosting a networking brunch on Friday, May 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to help women of color break through into leadership roles in the tech industry.

Women face barriers to employment in the technology sector at every level, and women of color even more so. Philly Tech Sistas works to help women of color overcome these barriers by offering workshops introducing participants to programming as well as professional development programs.

Attendees of the networking event will hear from “top industry leaders, tech companies, and local organizations on the many ways they are breaking down barriers through various resources and opportunities available to women in tech and business,” according to the event website.

French Toast Bites, a Delaware County company owned by Charisse McGill, will cater the event.
