Sustainability in East Africa at Pennypack Farm: Josphat Macharia founder and director of the Ndabibi Environmental Conservation Centre (NECC), an NGO (non-governmental organization) in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya, will discuss his experiences in agroforestry, water harvesting, and bio-gas production in Africa. NECC uses educational programs to teach communities sustainable agriculture and conservation practices, so that families may reduce poverty and become self-sufficient.
