The Morris Arboretum presents, Connections Beyond Our Garden: Talks on People, Plants and Place. Join Director of the Arboretum, Paul Meyer, for his discussion on International Plant Exploration specifically focusing on the landscapes of Korea, China and the Republic of Georgia. Slow Food Philly’s Food Tastings/Seminars and Casey Spacht, Director of the Lancaster Farm Fresh Coop will host, Foraging Wild Foods and the Farms of Lancaster County. Casey (featured in GRID June ’10 p.14) will demonstrate how to recognize, forage and prepare wild edibles and medicinals. This event will take place at the Restaurant School, located at 4100 Walnut St. Tickets are $20.
