Join Eve to learn how to create a butterfly mosaic to celebrate our butterfly month!In celbration of WEC's butterfly month join Eve for an afternoon moasic workshop. Choose a butterfly species you want to create. You will learn to make a simpe drawing and transfer it to mosaic, you will learn to use nippers to cut tile. This walk and talk discusses the legacy of Andorra Nursey and how Willam Harper and Elanor Houston Smith influenced Wissahickon Park and Northwest Philadelphia. We will visit structures, trees, and shrubs that persist from Andorra's operations. Expect to walk 2-3 miles in hilly terrain.
