Meet at Historic Rittenhouse Town – at the Kiosk adjacent to the Monoshone (Papermill) Creek Back by popular demand! We will explore some of the mysticism, mythology, religion, legends, history, art, music, and architecture found within the Wissahickon. We will have ample time to examine these from the three different perspectives of history, theology, and psychology. Along the way, we will visit Lover’s Leap, the Henry Avenue Bridge, the Hermitage, and Kelpius’ Cave. At each of these sites, we will consider topics that range from hidden subway stations, apocalyptic movements, and the Wissahickon’s most famous hermit. Difficulty Level: Moderate (some inclines
