Come and be part of a new mural to beautify Tacony! No experience necessary!
Come out to participate in the painting of a collaborative mural that will be installed at 4823 Longshore Avenue! The mural is the second iteration of a unique design concept developed by Lead Artist and Kensington Color Me Back Studio Manager, Mat Tomezsko that incorporates working from stencils and templates and encourages individual interpretation of the imagery. No experience is necessary! This event will be free and open to the public.
This mural is part of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s same day work and pay program which hires 20 participants each day to work Monday-Thursday from 8-12pm contributing to various works of public art. Each participant is paid $50 cash for their work. Interested in participating in the program? Come out to the paint day event and sign up for a chance to work!

The Tacony LAB’s classes are unique in Philadelphia: we do not charge tuition or any sort of fees for any of our classes.
Our classes are popular and often have wait-lists. If you enroll in a class/event, please commit to attending it! No- shows deprive others from attending.
