Join the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia on Tuesday, June 6th, to advocate for Automated Speed Enforcement in Philadelphia! The Roosevelt Boulevard Automated Speed Enforcement pilot is set to expire in December of 2023. Recently, Senators David Argall (R-Schuylkill County) and Judith Schwank (D-Berks) introduced a co-sponsorship memo announcing that they will introduce a bill to reauthorize the program. We expect that it will introduced in the next month. We want to advocate to Senators to make the program on Roosevelt Blvd permanent and to expand it to the rest of Philadelphia county. This technology saves lives and should be expanded
