Join us at Cherry St. Pier on Valentine's Day to join Walk Around Philadelphia in showing some love for the city! Enjoy a festive beverage, learn about the walk, and meet some of your fellow walkers. A brief orientation for new walkers will take place at 6pm. Food and drink should be available from Cherry St. Pier vendors. Walk Around Philadelphia t-shirts will be available for purchase as well (while sizes last). We'll be halfway through our circumnavigation of the city! Day 7 starts the next morning. Each February, for four days, the world comes together for the love of birds. Over these four days people spend time in their favorite places watching and counting as many birds as they can find and reporting them using eBird. These observations help scientists better understand and protect global bird populations. Join Wissahickon Trails for a family friendly, kid-focused event to learn about, count and celebrate birds. We’ll spend some time learning about bird identification, how to use binoculars, and take a walk around the Four Mills Preserve to count all the birds we can find. Dress for the weather
