Poets Andrés Cerpa, Shara McCallum, and Mihaela Moscaliuc will read from their own work alongside historical texts by lesser-known figures of the American Revolution and early republic. Following the readings, audience members are invited to create their own erasure poems using excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and George Washington’s Farewell Address.
