With increasingly intense storms and aging infrastructure, our sewer system is under strain. This can lead to polluted runoff flowing through our streets and into local waterways. At the same time, there’s real momentum for change: City Council has adopted a Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) resolution, with a hearing expected this fall.

The decisions being made now will have lasting impacts on the health, safety, and resilience of our neighborhoods.

We’d love for you to join us for a community Movie Night featuring Reclaiming the Rain. This event will bring together neighbors, advocates, City Leaders, and representatives from the Philadelphia Water Department to share updates, build momentum, and discuss what’s next for GSI in our city.

Your voice and presence matter, being part of the conversation helps move us toward cleaner water, healthier communities, and continued investment in green solutions.
