Guided Herb Walk & Growing Herbal Medicine at Home

Meeting at the Community Garden at the corner of Longshore Ave and Keystone St, we’ll identify the medicinal plants growing in the garden’s surrounding landscape, then explore how to successfully cultivate and use medicinal herbs at home.
Herbalist Lynn Roberts will share local plant identification tips, practical growing and harvesting techniques, and traditional and contemporary uses, helping participants gain confidence in working with the herbs they encounter and grow.

About the Instructor:
Lynn Roberts is a Clinical Herbalist, Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Nutritionist, founder of Acuity Wellness, and Coordinator of the Montgomery County chapter of Herbalists Without Borders. A dedicated educator and grower, she stewards the herb beds at the PHS Community Farm at Norristown Farm Park and teaches home herbalism workshops both there and throughout the surrounding region.
