Family Bike Friday for Southwest Neighbors

(Rescheduled from Friday, April 28) Southwest neighbors, meet us by the basketball court at 56th Street & Lindbergh Boulevard for a family bike ride through the Garden! Free bikes, helmets, and snacks will be provided, as well as a kid’s bike raffle. Parents, you can also sign a one-time waiver that will allow your child to have access to free bike rentals on Youth Bike Fridays and Open Bike Hub Saturday events all spring at the Bartam’s Garden Bike Hub. Philadelphia Literacy Day 2023 - We Outside! We're bringing together old heads and youngbouls for hours of fun so come play with us! Philadelphia Literacy Day is a celebration of reading, writing, and learning through play! Let's reconnect this generation with previous generations of children's love for playing outside. This festival will be a huge block-party celebration of books and literacy with live music, activities, readings by local authors, book signings, community resources, and tons of games! journeying barefoot

Join barefoot bella of journeying barefoot for a six-week sound healing, nature meditation, and reflection series. We will gather weekly on Thursdays from 4-5:30 pm. Please bring a towel, blanket, or mat to sit on as well as a journal/notebook for reflections. We’ll have extra yoga mats and journals to share too. These events will take place either out in the Garden or indoors, depending on the weather. We’ll meet at the Welcome Center before heading to the day’s location.
