For many young people in Uplift’s grief services, a picture truly says a thousand words. Since our founding in 2000, Uplift’s clinicians have invited youth and caregivers to engage in creative expression of their grief through art and storytelling. These art-making activities help attendees explore their grief, reflect on the legacies of the people they grieve, and find community together.
Uplifting Voices: Art That Speaks is a one-night art show that proudly displays art made by young people and caregivers during Uplift’s Family Art Night series and grief groups. Join us this Children’s Grief Awareness Month
to celebrate the power of art to uplift voices.
