Join us for a FREE immersive and educational workshop on harvesting and processing elderberries! You will be taken through a step-by-step process of processing elderberries, showcasing the creation of an elderberry oxymel. Led by Afro-Indigenous Clinical and Community Herbalist Yam Vallis, in partnership with the Philadelphia Orchard Project and Mill Creek Urban Farm. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with: a deeper understanding of Afro-Diasporic Herbalism practices practical skills in harvesting and processing elderberries and a delicious elderberry preparation to enjoy at home.
