Philly Area City Nature Challenge Identification Day !

City Nature Challenge is an annual initiative that invites people around the world to find and document wildlife in their own cities. Join us on May 9 along with naturalists, hobbyists and professionals as we learn how to identify species in the cemetery and arboretum. Bring the whole family for ID app tutorials, interactive games, basic exploration of taxonomy and classification, snacks, and conversation about the importance of biodiversity and environmental literacy.
Presented in partnership with the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
This event is being hosted in coordination with Love Your Park Week, a citywide celebration of Philadelphia’s parks and public spaces. Learn more at loveyourpark.org/events/lyp-week-2026
