Morris Arboretum & Gardens Tour — The Wetland: A Unique Ecosystem

June 14 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Free – $22

This specialty tour investigates many native plants and trees around the pond and near the Wissahickon Creek. It includes a brief history of the Wetland and describes the nature of a wetland ecosystem. The Wetland offers both the beauty and ruggedness created in the environment. Wetlands provide important resources–water, food, shelter–vital for plants, trees and wildlife that create a native abundant habitat. This tour is off-path, and visitors are advised to wear walking or hiking shoes. Meet at the kiosk as you enter the Morris. Park to the left of the garden entrance. Free with general admission!
