This free concert presents the powerful, meditative music and poetry of Indian composer and spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy, artfully arranged and conducted by British musician Sahadeva Torpy and performed by an international ensemble of musicians and singers. The concert is offered to celebrate hope, harmony and the interconnectedness of all life, transcending the boundaries of politics, culture and creed. Where better to reaffirm this vision than in Philadelphia – the city of brotherly love that Sri Chinmoy hailed as the ‘spiritual capital of America’.
