Harvest Meal: Sukkot at Branch Creek Farm

Start

This weekend, Branch Creek Farm in Perkasie will host a Sukkot dinner prepared by Zahav chef Michael Solomonov. The meal will be eaten under a sukkah, and benefit benefit Hazon, America’s largest Jewish environmental organization.

I’ll be there, heading over straight from PASA’s Bike Fresh Bike Local Ride (one way to work up an appetite).

Guests can expect interpretations of Chef Solomonov’s delightful modern Israeli cuisine (he’s was a James Beard Award finalist), featuring seasonal products from Judy and Mark Dornstreich’s organic farm. Ingredients that are unavailable at Branch Creek will be sourced from Hazon-sponsored Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) in the area.

Sunday, September 26, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Branch Creek Farm (1501 Branch Creek Farm, Perkasie, PA)
