Nurture with Nature Workshop: Crafting Gratitude Votives
Working with the healing power of plants can help to decrease stress and anxiety, process grief, and improve focus, mood, and overall wellbeing. Join the Friends of Laurel Hill and Kate Irvine, a trained horticulturist and mixed media artist with a certificate in Horticultural Therapy, for this outdoor workshop offering eco-mindfulness practices that honor and preserve our connection with nature.
This workshop will take place in Nature’s Sanctuary, the native plant garden and green burial area at Laurel Hill West. Using dried herbs and pressed flowers, we will create herbal bath mixes and rejuvenating votive candles with a guided meditation focusing on thankfulness and surrendering. All are welcome!
