Gel printing is a fun and easy printmaking technique that uses soft, flexible printing plates to create colorful, layered images. In this hands-on class, children will use natural materials like leaves, flowers, and other found textures to create one-of-a-kind prints that celebrate the beauty of the world around them. They’ll learn how to apply and layer colors, make unique patterns, and experiment with different tools to add texture and depth. Relax the mind and strengthen the body with an all-levels yoga class and meditation session guided by Christina Fittipoldi in the tranquil setting of Stoneleigh. The gentle pace will allow us time to linger in poses and build a deeper connection to the body using our breath. Please bring a mat, water bottle, and any props you may like to use.
