Discover the Wissahickon: Carpenter’s Woods Walk
Meeting at Mt. Airy Avenue Trailhead (view location on Google Maps) Our Discover the Wissahickon hike series is presented by Newrez. Join Trail Ambassadors Seya Fadullon, Courtney Malley, Margaret Kinnevy, and Mark Tuveson for a hike through Carpenter’s Woods, one of the oldest growth forests in the park. Starting at the Mt. Airy Avenue Trailhead, we’ll take the White Trail north, explore this oft-forgotten section of the park, and loop back around. This will be a fairly easy hike appropriate for all fitness levels.
