  • First Friday Stakeholder Tour

    Join us for a guided tour of Tacony Creek Park. Our First Friday tour series is intended to introduce community stakeholders and partner organizations to the park, trail and creek, demonstrating the natural beauty of this under appreciated community green space, noting the challenges of this urban watershed park and talking through strategies for rallying support for this incredible community asset. We will meet at the northernmost end of the trail. We will walk south to the end of the trail and have vehicles staged to return our guests to our starting point.   • People of the Park Ribbon Cutting

    We are so excited to invite the Tacony Creek Park community to join us for the People of the Park Ribbon Cutting. We will host the first ceremony at the southernmost sign, along the Tacony Creek Park trail right below the gateway at East Tabor Road and East Olney Avenue. The speaking program and ribbon cutting will run from 2pm to 2:30pm. The first sign honors Maria Vazquez; we will walk to each of the 3 other signs to cut ribbons with the featured people (Thomas & Savannah McHale, Dr. Rhoda Moise, and Seri Chao).
