Field Trips to Independence Seaport Museum

TTF is excited to provide FREE field trips to the Independence Seaport Museum (ISM) on the following Sundays: October 16, November 6 and December 18.

Get your hands (literally and figuratively) wet as you explore the importance of keeping our waterways clean, how we are all connected, and what you can do to be a river hero through fun, interactive exhibit components that will have you saying, “Wow!  The river really is alive!”

Awarded the American Alliance for Museum’s Special Achievement Award for Interactivity in 2019, experience the River Alive! landmark exhibit on a trip to Independence Seaport Museum with TTF!

TTF Watershed Partnership’s River Alive! Learning Trail is based on the Independence Seaport Museum’s River Alive! Exhibit, but on a neighborhood scale. Let’s bring the education full circle by traveling to the exhibit that inspired the Learning Trail development!

Trip schedule below:

• 1:30pm – Meet at the Learning Trail
• 1:45pm – Board bus to go to ISM
• 2:15pm – Arrive at ISM
• 4pm – Depart ISM
• 4:30pm – Arrive back at River Alive Learning Trail

Field trips will depart from the River Alive! Learning Trail, and arrive back at the Learning Trail located at Ferko Playground in Juniata Park: Ferko Playground – 1101 E Cayuga St, Philadelphia, PA 19124

Horario del viaje:

• 1:45pm –  Encuentro en el Learning Trail
• 2pm –        Montarse en el autobús hacia ISM
• 2:30pm –   Llegar al ISM
• 4pm –        Salir del ISM
• 4:30pm –  Regreso al River Alive Learning Trail

Las giras comenzarán del River Alive! Learning Trail, y regresarán al Learning Trail localizado en Ferko Playground en Juniata Park: Ferko Playground – 1101 E Cayuga St, Philadelphia, PA 19124
