Spearheaded by renowned community leader and event curator Bigga Dre (Amun Sen Hotep Re), this annual celebration has become a vital space for connection, empowerment, and cultural expression in the city. Rooted in the legacy of Juneteenth—the historic commemoration of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans—this event is a vibrant reflection of Philadelphia’s Black community and its ongoing contributions to art, activism, and progress.

For September, we're excited to present a zany animal world sci-fi adventure, Hoppers (2026)—What if you could talk to animals and understand what they're saying? In Disney and Pixar's all-new feature film "Hoppers," scientists have discovered how to "hop" human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals as animals! The adventure introduces Mabel, an animal lover who seizes an opportunity to use the technology, uncovering mysteries within the animal world that are beyond anything she could have imagined.
