Public Meeting about Chemical Contamination

In Summer 2024, we learned of a potential chemical contamination originating at a privately owned site adjacent to Bartram’s Garden and the Bartram’s Mile Trail. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health and our independent test results, most park users are at very low risk for exposure. The impacted site is a privately owned industrial property and is not an area of public access. The property owner is required to hold a public meeting about the contamination. All are welcome. The Weekend Warm-up Hike returns to Tyler’s hiking trails! Start your Friday off right with a brisk, one-hour hike through Tyler’s gardens and natural areas beyond the deer exclusion fence.
