The event celebrates the growing soccer community in America while raising funds for the Philadelphia Union Foundation’s trailblazing programs. Support for the cause uplifts communities, providing them strong youth programming to unite diverse communities and grow the presence of soccer in Chester, Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. It’s that exciting time of the year again when our ponds fill to the brim with squirming tadpoles! Join Riverbend's Educators for this fascinating annual rite of spring that happens right here at Riverbend. Learn about the lifecycle of the amphibians that live at the Preserve and see the tadpoles in action. This fun event is open to individuals and to families with children of all ages. Guests will explore the preserve and visit activity stations to learn all about frogs. Depending on the weather and other natural factors, we may see a lot of tadpoles or none at all,

Join the American Swedish Historical Museum (ASHM) for this fundraising dinner to celebrate our 2025 Outstanding Achievement Award Honoree, Swedish jazz musician Oskar Stenmark, plus—new for 2025—a live auction! Its research materials still include World Book Encyclopedias and a physical card catalog. There is no access to digital books, electronic research materials, periodicals, and other critical technological resources to ensure that our students can excel and compete academically. Despite our school’s successes and strengths, our students cannot effectively engage with their present education and prepare for life after graduation without a library and a technologically accessible resource center.
