School Day-Off Camp | Primary Election Day

Kids don’t have school on certain national and religious holidays, so what better way for them to spend a day off than enjoying time at camp? On four separate holidays this spring, Awbury Arboretum will be hosting a day of camp from 8:30am-3:30pm, with a full day’s activities: games, hiking, lunch over a campfire (hot dog lunch provided, or you can send your own), s’mores, scavenger hunts, crafts, and time spent exploring nature. Camp will take place rain or shine, so come dressed for the weather. School Day-Off Camps will be staffed by experienced counselors and teens from Awbury Adventures

Pollinator Party: Lectures and Educational Fair at Pennypacker Mills

In celebration of National Pollinator Week, the Friends of Pennypacker Mills are partnering with the Master Gardeners of Montgomery County, a beekeeper, and an arborist to honor and educate the public about these ecologically vital insects and wildlife.
