Plant trees at the Schuylkill Center! We’re looking for volunteers to help us restore and improve the landscape in the forest at the Schuylkill Center. In 2026 we worked on the Port Royal Gully project, a large engineering and landscape project that helped with flooding and water pollution, protecting the important first order springs at the Center. This project is nearly complete, but to cross the final finish line, we need to plant hundreds of trees to help the natural landscape and create a thriving home for wildlife. Calling all decorators, crafters, and autumn enthusiasts! We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare for one of our biggest events of the year: Halloween Hikes & Hayrides. Visit the Schuylkill Center for a DIY day of fall festival prep including building s’mores kits, carving jack-o-lanterns, creating crafts, decorating, and more! This is the perfect volunteer opportunity to get into the spirit of spooky season. Participants will receive one complimentary ticket for Halloween Hikes & Hayrides. Clinic Cleaners help us maintain a neat and tidy environment for our patients at the Schuylkill Center Wildlife Clinic. Wildlife rehabilitation can be messy work, and Clinic Cleaners help us maintain a healthy environment by assisting with laundry, sweeping floors, and cleaning the lobby. This allows our expert staff to focus more time on caring for the thousands of animals that the Wildlife Clinic cares for every year. Tasks will be assigned based on the needs of the Clinic.
