Explore the natural marvels of our 365-acre nature preserve on a guided hike led by an inspiring environmental educator. This free event is open to all ages. Walk-ins are welcome! This hike is about an hour long. Weather conditions can impact trail conditions, which are sometimes narrow or rocky.
Cliveden offers free house tours every second Saturday of the month, May to October, as part of their Second Saturday programming. House tours are available 12pm to 4pm, beginning on the hour in the Cliveden Barn, located at 98 E. Cliveden Street, 19119. The last tour of the day is at 3pm. Each tour is a one-hour experience. Help us to improve the health and biodiversity of our forest while getting to know our vast, 365 acres of protected land! This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to learn more about plant identification and restoration techniques while connecting with nature and other members of your community. Together, we will work to remove invasive plant species and improve our trails. No experience is necessary. We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy boots and bringing a pair of gloves if you have them available. We will have a selection of gloves if needed, along with tools, water

Visit the Schuylkill Center for a DIY day of fall festival prep including building s’mores kits, creating crafts, decorating, and more! Join Riverfront North Partnership and Glen Foerd for a fun, spooky, family-friendly evening along the river, watching the original Hocus Pocus. The movie will begin around 7pm. This is a great time of year for bird watching, and we’d like to invite community scientists to help us collect data for our annual Winter Bird Census! We’ll monitor the abundance of bird species that winter in our forests and fields. All of the information we collect will be shared with other community scientists, helping us to better understand how our local bird populations change over time. Sign Up Drinks and light snacks will be provided. Birders of any level experience are welcome to join, no birding experience necessary. This program is for adults only.
