State Senator Nikil Saval will be hosting a free paper shredding event on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at Fountain View at Logan Square, located at 2 Franklin Town Blvd. in Center City.     The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education and William Way invite you to celebrate National Coming Out Day with a guided hike and an outdoor open mic on Saturday, October 10th from 12-3pm.  Led by an inspiring environmental educator, this guided hike will focus on the scientific exploration of queerness and gender fluidity in nature. The hike will be about an hour long on the trails at the Schuylkill Center. Weather conditions can impact trail conditions, which are sometimes narrow or rocky.
