    Many people have heard an owl, but few have ever seen one. Mt. Cuba’s varied landscapes and topography provide the ideal habitats for three of Delaware’s native owl species – the barred, great horned, and Eastern screech – and winter is the best time to spot them roosting in our trees.     Join Independence Historical Trust and the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation for “Movies on the Mall,” an outdoor movie series celebrating the themes and history of Independence National Historical Park. Before the movie begins, enjoy family-friendly activities like 18th-century games, arts and crafts, Park Ranger programs and more! Pre-show activities will begin at 5:30 pm. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks. Additional concessions are available at the nearby Liberty Garden.
