Meet live ambassador bats, learn how these incredible mammals navigate and hunt in the dark, and explore the important role they play in healthy ecosystems. You’ll also discover how Pennsylvania Bat Conservation & Rehabilitation works to protect and care for bats throughout our region. After the presentation, head outside for a special bat release at dusk (weather permitting) and watch these nighttime fliers take to the sky.     Learn about bees, other pollinators, and the flowers they depend on.   ABOUT LITTLE EXPLORERS: Every first Wednesday of the month, March through November, 10-11:30am. Join us for exploration, a garden walk, and stories! Please feel free to bring a snack. Designed for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2-4. One adult chaperone is required for every two children. Come away with resource information on the challenges of beekeeping, the rewarding hobby of stewarding honey bees, and a plant list for pollinators! Beeswax, beekeeping tools, and Honey from the Farm will be on display, and hopefully an observation hive of live bees too!
