T’ai Chi & Qigong for Everyone 6- Week Series

FOR ADULTS 18+
6-week Series, Tuesdays, September 22 through October 27, 2026, 9:15 – 10:15 am; single classes sold separately.
A Meditation in Coordination
Cultivate a calm mind, steady heart, and balanced body through mindful movement and breath. Explore the internal arts of T’ai Chi and Qigong while practicing movements rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, Taoist Qigong, and T’ai Chi forms. Move through gentle sequences that sometimes travel across the room and other times are performed in a small standing space. Modify movements from a seated position if needed (please let the instructor know in advance if you have mobility concerns). Whether you’re brand new to T’ai Chi, building your skills, or have previous experience, you’ll find a welcoming practice that meets you where you are.
About your instructor: Gabrielle de Burke is a movement artist, educator, and instructor with more than 25 years of experience in T’ai Chi, Qigong, Taoist internal arts, and mindful movement. She began studying these practices while earning her degree in Theater from Temple University and later trained extensively under Master Chik Quadir Mason. Gabrielle has taught people of all ages and abilities in community, educational, and wellness settings while also working as an award-winning performance artist. Her classes blend traditional T’ai Chi and Qigong practices with an approachable, supportive teaching style that promotes balance, focus, strength, and well-being.
