Juneteenth Dinner
Join us at Awbury Arboretums Francis Cope House on Wednesday June, 19th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm to celebrate the legacy of Juneteenth!
Come celebrate and learn about the history of Juneteenth and the continued fight for liberation. The evening will consist of a Q&A led by Germantown Infohub’s Rasheed Ajamu with speakers Gwen Ragsdale of the Lest We Forget Slavery Museum, journalist Cassie Owens, and Juneteenth Festival Founder Cornelia Swinson! Following the talk, Chef Gail will provide a delicious meal inspired by the Juneteenth era infused with a rich history of Black culture! And to close out the evening, multi-dimensional jazz musician Koof Ibi will serenade guests with Jazz renditions taken from both past and present!
