FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH AGES 12-17
Discover how you can make a difference for pollinators in this presentation by Tyler Docent and Xerces Society Ambassador Woody Kotch.
Woody is eager to share how individuals can help slow or stop the decline of pollinator populations and improve our environment. In this session, you will learn about our local pollinators, their importance in our ecosystem, and the actions you can take to support them. Woody will also discuss ways to maintain biodiversity in your garden. The program includes a presentation and literature from the Xerces Society and a Q&A session. Weather permitting, there will be a guided tour of the Pollinator Preserve following the presentation.
The Xerces Society is an international nonprofit organization that protects the natural world through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats. As a science-based organization, we both conduct our own research and rely upon the most up-to-date information to guide our conservation work. Our key program areas are pollinator conservation, endangered species conservation, and reducing pesticide use and impacts. Learn more at https://www.xerces.org/.
