You say it’s your Earth Day? It’s my Earth Day, too! Get out of the house this Sunday, April 22, and enjoy any of these events, while pondering a future when there’s an Earth Year, and a Fossil Fuel Day.

Earth Day at the National Constitution Center
There will be activities and lessons for those of all ages at the National Constitution Center on Sunday. Trivia, crafts, gardening, games on the lawn and videos about the history of Earth Day will happen throughout the day.

Run for Clean Air
The Clean Air Council will host the annual Run for Clean Air, hosted at MLK Drive, right near the art museum. The run benefits the Clean Air Council, who are “dedicated to protecting and defending everyone’s right to breathe clean air.” There will also be an area for kids to participate in educational activities if their parent is running.

Science in the Park
Science in the Park is a part of the Philadelphia Science Festival. Clark Park and Hunting Park will each host activities from noon to 4 P.M.

Lardner’s Point Park
Help clean up Lardner’s Point Park at the newly-renamed Riverfront North with fellow Earth advocates after you participate in yoga, geocashing, fishing lessons and more.

Science in the Garden
There’s an entire ecosystem in a garden. Attendees can learn about seeds, pollinators, water and how they all work together. Learn from the pros–the event is hosted by the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners.

Fishtown Science Crawl
Fishtown has become a hub for bars, restaurants and food in Philly, so enjoy all of that and science demonstrations. Participating locations include Barcade, Frankford Hall, Front Street Cafe and La Colombe.

Rittenhouse Square Park Clean Up
Volunteers of all ages can help clean up Rittenhouse Square Park. All necessary supplies are provided.
