Camden’s Newest Community Garden. Join the Camden City Garden Club in building Camden’s first new community garden of 2011. The event is a celebration of the accomplishments of this organization over the past 27 years of community gardening. The event will take place at PRUP Community Garden, located on Broadway and Pine Streets in Camden NJ.

Dock St. and DiBruno Bros. Beer & Cheese Celebration. Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Two of Philadelphia’s finest purveyors, Dock Street Brewery and Di Bruno Bros., collaborate to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with fabulous beer and cheese! The Celebration will offer participants a variety of Dock Street’s fresh, unfiltered ales and lagers, coupled with an assortment of dishes using cheeses from around the world. 1730 Chestnut St., $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Seating is limited, Reservations can be made here.

The Academy of Natural Science’s: Fossil Collecting Field Study. Join Ned Gilmore, collection manager of the Vertebrate Paleontology Department, as he takes you back in time 70 million years to the Late Cretaceous by examining ancient sediments exposed from the diggings of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Keep what you find! $35/members; $40/non-members. Maximum of 20 participants. Call 215-299-1060 to register. Weaver’s Way Vegan Fest. Join Weavers Way in Mt. Airy for their Vegan Fest, a celebration of all things vegan. Sample foods from Bhagya’s Kitchen, Moshe’s, Fresh Tofu and Helen’s Pure Food along with an assortment of products from Weavers Way. There will also be plenty of fresh produce. Weaver’s Way is located at 559 Carpenter Lane.
