Pollinator Power!

May 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-10 PLUS ONE ADULT

Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, beetles and even some bats are pollinators! In this workshop, we’ll visit Tyler Arboretum’s Pollinator Preserve to observe pollinators in action. You’ll learn about their lifecycle, why they’re important, and what you can do to help them. Then, we’ll head to the Garden Classroom, where you’ll choose a plant to make your own pollinator feeding station to take home. It’s going to be a fun, hands-on way to discover the world of pollinators and how we can support them!

This program is for children ages 5-10 with one supervising adult. Registration is for children only. No drop-offs; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Check-in at the Visitor Center first, and then we will walk to the Pollinator Preserve as a group. This is an outdoor activity, so please dress accordingly.

This is a FREE program, but registration is required. Admission is included, so feel free to stay as long as you’d like!
