Workshop: Collagraphs with Tetra Pak

In this two-part workshop, participants will learn how to cut, drypoint, and print Tetra Pak to create a collagraph print. This simple and fun process offers an accessible way to explore collagraph techniques using found materials.
During the first session, participants will focus on image design and preparing the printing matrix. The second session will be dedicated to printing the completed images.
All supplies are provided, although participants are welcome to bring their own paper.
Instructor: Eliza Strauss-Jenkins, Print Shop Manager
Dates:
Friday, October 30, 2026
Friday, November 6, 2026
Time: 1:00–4:00 PM
Registration includes one month of Print Shop Membership, allowing participants to continue working on their Tetra Pak prints through November.
Tetra Pak is a paper-based food carton commonly used to hold liquids, such as coconut water. The material is typically silver-colored and coated with wax. Images can be created by selectively removing the waxy coating to expose the paper fibers, then printing the resulting design onto paper.
