Philly growers, come down and gather energy for the upcoming season with the Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden, Pasa Sustainable Agriculture, and other local growers. We’re excited to work, eat, and learn together to build a stronger, more connected Philly farming and gardening community. Schedule 9:30am: Arrival 10am–12pm: Welcome and work together on the land 12–1pm: Eat together 1–4pm: Learn together with two workshop blocks for beginner and advanced growers focused on building self and community reliance. Sankofa Community Farm Volunteer Day

Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden 5400 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia, PA

Volunteers will work alongside Farm staff to support seasonal plantings, harvesting, weeding, invasive species removal, and orchard support. Volunteers will meet at the Sankofa Community Farm at 9:30 AM and be separated into groups and provided with instructions and safety protocols for the day. Out of respect and safety for our staff and others, please arrive on time. PLEASE NOTE: Each adult must register individually in order to complete the waiver. Parents/guardians must complete registration for individuals 18 and under. Registration full but would like to still participate? Please contact Kimani Keaton at kimani@bartramsgarden.org to be added to our waitlist.
