We will visit Sarah’s Rock and the Looking West statue, and enjoy other sights of natural and historical interest. Although we are starting from the same spot as our February hike, we will stay mostly on the east side of the Wissahickon Creek, with just a bit of time on Forbidden Drive. This month we’ll be appreciating some of the work done by the FOW in 2024 as we traverse 2 reroutes and walk across the new pedestrian bridge. And we’ll note the beautiful vistas before the trees leaf up in the spring. We’ll pass by some areas of historical and cultural interest and also some beautiful rocks.
