    Join us for the opening of Indivisible: Stories of Strength, an exhibition exploring identity and culture among native and immigrant Philadelphians. This exhibit features a video series, collaborative art pieces, and new artwork in collage, ceramics, mosaics, printmaking, and photography created by artists and staff from SEAMAAC's art resiliency workshops. The evening will include a panel discussion with artists and teaching artists who created pieces for this powerful exhibition. Free and open to the public, light refreshments served.

    Feeling a chill already this winter? The perfect way to warm up is with a hot bowl of Swedish pea soup at the American Swedish Historical Museum! ASHM continues our tradition of the annual Pea Soup Dinner hosted by The Pea Soup Committee on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Ärtsoppa, or Swedish yellow pea soup, is the traditional Thursday night supper in Sweden during the winter that dates back to the medieval period. In more modern times, pea soup is served regularly during the winter in restaurants and homes and is a common Thursday school lunch in Sweden,
