    Start your Christmas celebrations by indulging in a Swedish holiday dinner prepared by Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group. Julbord, or “Christmas Table,” is a Scandinavian feast where a wide variety of foods are served buffet style, or, as Swedes say, smörgåsbord. A traditional Julbord takes place on December 24th and is one of the highlights of the Christmas celebration for Swedes. Some menu items on a traditional Julbord are remnants of Viking spreads from mid-winter solstice celebrations, while other originate from the turn of the twentieth century in Sweden. A modern favorite dish, meatballs, was only added in the 1970s!

Across the Atlantic explores the trans-Atlantic journey of the first organized group of Norwegian immigrants to sail to the United States.
