    Riverbend camps create an outdoor experience of fun & free play for campers of all ages! Hiking, stream-stomping and bug-catching are a few of the key ingredients that have made Riverbend's summer camp a sensation since 1982. Riverbend campers aren’t afraid to get a little dirty in our weekly program that runs from mid-June to Labor Day. Our qualified and enthusiastic educators (some who were campers themselves!) guide children in hands-on nature exploration and investigation, games, crafts, hikes and more. Your child’s favorite summer memories await!

    Join us for a morning of caring for the preserve!Join us for a morning of caring for the preserve! Volunteers will help refresh mulch along trails and picnic table areas to keep these spaces welcoming and enjoyable for visitors. If time allows, we’ll also plant a few shrubs to help beautify and support the landscape. Come ready to get your hands dirty and make a difference outdoors!Please wear well-fitted boots and bring a water bottle.

McKaig offers pristine 91-acre woods that are well suited for hands-on nature discovery for this full-day, week-long summer camp. Camps will be led by Riverbend’s skilled educators to guide your campers in nature exploration through hikes, stream-stomping, bug-catching, and so much more.
