Philly Stake
Philly Stake is a microgranting event that supports creative, community-engaged projects. Attendees enjoy a locally-sourced meal prepared by Stake volunteers and decide who receives the funding. Philly Stake first brought Philadelphians together in 2010 and ran through 2016. Ten years later, on the 250th anniversary of our country, it’s back to celebrate the ingenuity and benevolence of our fine City! Over the years, Philly Stake provided seed money to more than 16 community projects — many of which you may know and love today: the Monkey and the Elephant Café, RAIR, the West Philly Tool Library, Warrior Writers, and others.
